Tree, hedge and palm pruning in Tarragona
We prune at the right time and with the right technique for each plant: shade trees, fruit trees, pines, hedges and palms. Insured, with debris removal included.
When we prune what
Formative pruning of deciduous trees is done in winter, between January and February, when the tree is dormant. Maintenance pruning can be done in autumn. Hedges can take light trims in spring and late summer.
Palms are pruned between May and September, always with preventive treatment against the red palm weevil, a pest that's widespread around Tarragona.
Topiary and shapes
As well as regular pruning, we shape olive trees, box and shrubs into balls, tiers or figures. It's slow work, kept up with trims every few weeks in the growing season, and it's one of the things that makes a garden stand out most.
Emergencies
Fallen trees, branches about to break or storm damage. We handle emergencies quickly, Sundays included.
