Plants that work here
Lavender, rosemary, santolina, gazania, agapanthus, pittosporum and tamarisk cope with strong sun, wind and salt spray, and need little water once established. You can explore them with our plant finder.
How we work
We visit the space, talk about how you'll use it and suggest a layout. Once you've accepted the fixed quote, we prepare the ground, plant, install the irrigation and leave everything clean.
Gardens that need little water
On the Costa Daurada water is expensive in summer and drought restrictions are not unusual. A garden designed to use little water combines several ideas:
- Less lawn, better placed: only where it gets used, and the rest in gravel, pebbles or ground cover.
- Plants grouped by water needs, so watering one doesn't waterlog the others.
- Mulch with bark or gravel, which holds moisture and keeps weeds down.
- Drip irrigation for beds and hedges, set to run at dawn.
The result is a garden that looks good all year and takes less work. You can see examples in our work.
